A Bay-breasted warbler is a bird I hoped to see. For the last three years during spring migration, I looked for the bird. No luck. Last Friday, I went to a place where I thought I might find some warblers migrating through the area. I walked up the hill and soon heard birds; they were warblers. I was busy photographing a Blackburnian warbler, then turned to walk farther up the hill. There, on a bush in front of me was a Bay-breasted warbler! I stopped, I became very quiet, as if I were in an art gallery looking at the Mona Lisa for the first time, and silently said to myself, "Bay-breasted warbler". Oh, it was beautiful and it stayed still long enough for me to get a photo. I always have such a good feeling when I see a bird that I've never seen before.
