Telluride- I heard the name and saw the photos. It was a place to visit in autumn- mountains colored with aspen trees. Why had I never gone there? Well, it was a six hour drive from Denver. I flew to Grand Junction the first week in October, rented a car and drove two hours to Telluride. The place was idyllic- elk herds in the meadows, a village in a valley surrounded by the San Juan mountains, ablaze with colorful Aspen trees.

For the next five days I drove around the San Juan Mountains enjoying the colorful scenery. I saw a gondola going up and down the mountain in Telluride. I didn't think I could take a good photo in the gondola with a phone, through the glass windows. I was wrong. On the last day in Telluride, with few plans, I rode the gondola. The scenery was spectacular. I took photos and videos and was able to edit the photos to correct the color. Gorgeous!
