Galveston, TX 4/18/16

Last week I went to Galveston, TX hoping to see many birds during the Spring migration. I didn't see many; however, I saw some birds that I had never seen before: Blue Grosbeak, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher and Summer Tanager. I enjoyed driving around Galveston- stopping to take photos of the piers, and discovering old Galveston. There are many large, old homes that have a French Architectural influence. Wild flowers were in bloom,

so I was stopping by the roadside frequently to photograph them. I enjoyed talking to the other bird photographers that I met.
