I'm always out driving, hiking around looking for photo opportunities whenever I can. Most of the time, I find nothing. However, sometimes I
discover flowers and birds that I have never seen before, and if it weren't for photography I never would have made the effort to go look. I've
always lived in Minnesota and never saw bluebells growing wild- I discovered these on the North shore, near Two Harbors, MN. This week I
saw a bird called a Scarlet Tanager. I looked for a year for this bird. Not only did I see the bird, but with some effort, got a beautiful photo. It's
so wonderful to discover these things.
